PMI Sarasota is a full-service real estate asset management company that provides professional property management and real estate brokerage services in the Sarasota, Siesta Key, and Longboat Key areas. We are dedicated to providing our clients with excellent customer service by maximizing owner profitability and preserving their real estate investment.

We provide Sarasota residential property owners with the highest quality property management services using state-of-the-art technology – like an online portal giving them full access to financial reporting, maintenance reports, leasing documents and more. Owners are informed of how their investments are doing in real-time – and tenants have their own portal giving them access to maintenance requests and rent payment options.

Steve is committed to providing superior asset management to his clients through the protection and maintenance of their real estate investments and through superior service and responsiveness to both clients and his clients’ tenants. Exceptional property management is founded on achieving optimal tenant quality, minimal vacancy, and maximum asset value. In the formation of PMI Sarasota, Steve is bringing the same management qualities and real estate knowledge that helped build LoParco Associates, Inc. (Greenwich, Connecticut, www.loparco.com) into one of the premier residential construction firms over the past 27 years.

After graduating from Columbia University with a degree in Engineering he began his real estate career working in Manhattan real estate development and property management, and later took positions in asset management with both Chase Manhattan Bank and HSBC.

His entrepreneurial spirit soon prompted him to start his own construction and property development business in 1992, working in both residential and commercial construction in the demanding markets of Fairfield County (CT) and Westchester County (NY). His specialty soon became single family custom homes, for both new construction and renovations.

His business now expands to the Sarasota market where he and his wife MJ reside. In addition to his residential building and property management expertise, Steve is also a Licensed Florida Real Estate Broker with numerous relationships within the Sarasota brokerage community and local knowledge of the marketplace.

MJ Loparco Founder & Owner

MJ’s commitment to service and maximizing asset value is equal to her husband Steve’s. She comes to PMI Sarasota after a successful career in Human Resources spanning multiple industries (search, finance, global relief & development & sports marketing) proving her versatility and adaptability. MJ’s skills bring a corporate professionalism to Sarasota property management.

Throughout her many work-lives her core values have always remained the same: work harder & smarter than everyone else – go the extra mile; look for opportunities to learn, grow and continue to challenge yourself; be open-minded and treat everyone with respect and professionalism.

Working in the human resources field has provided MJ the opportunity to hone skills related to people management, managing multiple sets of priorities and expectations, solving problems, providing workable solutions for all parties, understanding objectives and knowing how a business works.

In addition to her professional career, MJ has had a long-standing commitment to service and community, serving on multiple non-profit committees (National MS Society, Domus, Raise-the-Bar) and through her work for Americares, a global healthcare relief organization where she traveled to Haiti and El Salvador for her work.

The key to our success in customer service is Debbie Brooks!

Debbie has 28 years of experience in property management and believes she has seen, heard and dealt with almost any situation. She has worked with all types of properties – – complexes, condos and single-family homes.

Owners, tenants, and vendors all comment on her dedication, commitment and follow- through as well as her keen sense of understanding an issue and ability to problem-solve. Her approach is to ensure expectations are managed and positive outcomes are achieved for all parties (owner, tenant, and vendor) in a timely fashion.

She does this all with a smile and infectious laugh, inspiring us with her enthusiasm and energy. She is fun to work with!

Debbie is a sports enthusiast and loves to spend time watching her favorite teams, the Tampa Bay Rays, Chicago Cubs and the Denver Broncos. And when she isn’t working or watching her teams play, you can find her tackling projects on her own home and garden in Sarasota.

Nancy Palmer Guerrero Realtor, Broker Associate & LCAM

Nancy has been a full-time Sarasota resident since December 1987. She has been in real estate since 1996 and became a Broker-Sales Associate in 2001. Nancy has a complimentary background in hotel/hospitality management and banking. She transitioned into real estate originally working in Property Management and Leasing and then Sales. Nancy holds a B.S degree in Business and Hotel Administration from the University of New Hampshire. She also holds a LCAM license, which she established in 1994. We are thrilled to have Nancy as part of the PMI Sarasota team, where she will provide property management services and sales support.

Originally born in Miami, FL Alex grew up in Grand Rapids, MI where he first started in Real Estate and Property Management in 2011. Alex and his family relocated back to Florida several years ago.

He holds a Broker Associate license in Michigan as well as Florida, and is also a licensed CAM in Florida.

Alex served in the U.S. Army from 1990-1994 as a Heavy Equipment Operator and is a proud veteran.

Being of Cuban descent he also speaks fluent Spanish.

Married with 5 children, and 2 grandkids, he stays busy! When not working, he is wade or beach fishing, as well as watching college football. He and his wife Dawn, also like to spend time volunteering with their local church and community.

Once with a client he is totally committed, and willing to go the extra mile to help.

He looks forward to assisting you with your property management needs.

Proud parents of 5 children and hailing from the Midwest, Dave & Lynne are dog lovers, motorcycle enthusiasts, beach combers, travel mavens and local food connoisseurs.

A key focus of their business is partnering with property owners to help them achieve their own property goals and creating amazing guest experiences through great communication and exceptional hospitality.
